Day Six 2021 0917
Our final day at the beach sadly enough. Thank goodness it started off sunny.
Breakfast was mixture of McDonalds, Donuts from a Local Bakery, Cereal, Toast and Bagels.
Todays selection was the 5Vegas Big Five. This large 60 ring stick is a very easy maintenance free smoke. Delivered a smooth, even burn throughout despite the wind. Definitely a flavorful cigar.
The afternoon brought some clouds so we took advantage and enjoyed a lunch of garden salad, bar-b-que pork steaks, corn on the cob and potato salad.
The afternoon consisted of more souvenir shops.
Dinner was at Live Bait which was a delicious mix of wings, seafood gumbo, steak, shrimp, baked potatoes and something that Randy had been telling us about which was the GROUPER PONTCHARTRAIN, herb and panko encrusted Grouper, topped with jumbo shrimp, mushrooms, mixed peppers and onions, then drizzled with creole beurre blanc. Served with green bean amandine and mashed potatoes. This thing was massive.
Ended the night listening to a band at The Hangout.
Retired to bed around 11:00PM
